The following are some general tips on caring for your blind fabric.
- To remove dirty hand marks, use a white eraser to gently rub away the marks
- Fabrics should be regularly dusted/vacuumed as appropriate with a soft lint-free cloth or by using the brush nozzle of your vacuum cleaner
- Light stains can be wiped clean with warm soapy water and a damp cloth only on those fabrics that specify this is suitable (check descriptions above)
- Do not use strong detergents, solvents or scrub against the fabric because it will damage the coating of the fabric. If commercial cleaners are used, always test a small inconspicuous area first.
- Allow the fabric to air dry completely before rolling it back
- Do not wash/dry clean or allow blinds to become wet

Blockout fabrics provide the ultimate in privacy both during the day and at night, making it an ideal choice for any room in the home. Blockout fabrics also offer 100% blockout for room darkening, ideal for bedrooms and a good nights sleep. Blockout roller blinds offer energy efficient insultation properties, and are ideal for reducing your energy bills.
Sunscreen fabrics enable you to retain your view of the outside, allow in natural light and at the same time provide daytime privacy. They excel in controlling the glare entering your room, and with an approximate 95% UV blockage they offer protection for your furniture and flooring from sun damage. With energy-efficient insulation properties, sunscreen blinds are ideal for helping to keep your rooms cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
Light Filtering fabrics gently diffuse and soften the light, whilst ensuring both day and night time privacy - meaning you can enjoy the best of both worlds at the same time. Also known as translucent blinds, they are designed to block the view from outside in and vice-versa - so are ideal if you need privacy from a street-facing window, or to hide a not-so-perfect view. With their insulation properties, they can also assist in the energy efficiency of your home, helping to retain warmth in winter and keep out the heat in summer.
